Before I discovered ‘The Naturals Method’, I was living every practitioner’s nightmare.

Truth is, I used to be terrible at practice. And when I say terrible, I’m talking about a whole other level of dysfunction.

I know how the struggle feels since I too tried everything that you could think of to become better. I would brute force my way to seeing the slightest of progress, without having much to show for it. And I was getting nowhere. Ironically, the only reason I could think of for my lack of progress was believing I wasn’t working ‘hard enough,’ while I was already practicing 8-10 hours a day.

Every day. Never missed a session. Doing everything conventional wisdom and coaches told me to do.

Some praised my ‘dedication.’ They’d tell me my discipline was incredible. Wearing it like some sort of loser’s badge of honour.

Because inside, I was drowning. Watching others breeze past obstacles that stopped me cold, I’d grind the same movements for months with barely anything to show for it.

Worse, it was starting to make me feel like a fraud. Like I was pouring my life into a leaking bucket, certain the hole was my lack of talent.

The difference isn’t talent. It’s method.

That’s why nobody would guess that the sudden change in my progress came from applying simple rules and processes that made me progress in a faster way than ‘usual.’

So what enabled me to make this transformation?

A transformation that helped me share world records with someone who started the same skill at age 4, while I started at 18.

But more than anything, it required changing how I believed practice works to what actually worked.

I realised you don’t make progress when you repeat a skill.

You make progress when you stretch it. Not a rep before.

So I began to ask…

How do I make every session land in that 8%?

And that was the beginning of the Naturals Method.
